April 8 - You're a Winner!

Woo Hoo!  I won tickets to the Home Show in Novi!  Free tickets!  I won free tickets!!  We had to go to the station to pick them up, and then we got to go to the Home Show at the Novi Expo center FREE!

It was pretty cool, but truth be told, I wouldn't have paid to go.  

It was neat 'cause it was free, that's about it!

April 2 - Fun with "Old Friends"

On Saturday, I had the wonderful opportunity to get together with a group of "old friends" for dinner and dessert.  The interesting part was that at first glance, they weren't MY "old friends," but rather my parents' friends.  After about 10 minutes though, they became "my friends."  We had wonderful evening together, and I seriously don't remember laughing quite so much!

Ever have one of those days where you'd like to just hide behind your desk for a while?  Well, today wasn't exactly that kind of day, but did feel a little overwhelmed as I looked out from behind the stacks of stuff on my desk this evening. . .

It's like Christmas all over again!!  A package from kohls.com came today - filled with fun things that I had purchased online for just $14 - yup, five things for just $14 - not too bad!  This color and "print" made me smile, so I thought I'd share!

Why is it that, for me, this is one of the hardest things to consistently see?  I like it. . . I want it. . . I just don't usually see it. .   THAT is where New Week's Resolutions come into play!  I WILL see this every night for the next week - that's my New Week's Resolution!!

Steve and I went to Ann Arbor on Friday, 

and after lunch we stopped by the Cupcake Station.

Well, the rest of the afternoon and evening (New Year's Eve) 

were so busy, we didn't get to our cupcakes until today!

Mine was Peppermint Patti and it was GREAT!

My Perspective - Introduction

Okay, I think it's about time for another 30 day photo project.  I've had such a good time with the other 30 day projects, that I figured starting a new one with the new year would be a lot of fun!

This 30 day photo adventure is called "My Perspective."  It's nothing too fancy, just a look at life around me from various points of view.  Hopefully each picture will create a story itself - with or without my added narration!
